These Terms & Conditions apply to bookings and participation in cookery classes and events offered by Cookery Cottage.
1. Bookings
Bookings for cookery classes or events must be made through our website or by contacting us directly.
A booking is only confirmed once payment has been received.
2. Payments
Payment must be made in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.
3. Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel a booking, please contact us as soon as possible.
Refunds or rescheduling may be offered depending on the notice provided and availability.
Cookery Cottage reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, participants will be offered an alternative date or refund.
4. Refunds
Refunds may be granted at the discretion of Cookery Cottage depending on the timing and circumstances of the cancellation.
5. Safety and Liability
Participants must follow all safety instructions provided during cookery classes.
Cookery Cottage cannot accept responsibility for injuries, accidents, or allergic reactions that occur during participation unless caused by proven negligence.
Participants are responsible for informing us of any allergies or dietary requirements before the class.
6. Intellectual Property
All recipes, materials, photographs, and content provided during classes or on the website remain the property of Cookery Cottage unless otherwise stated.
These materials may not be reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without permission.
7. Changes to Terms
Cookery Cottage reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will be published on our website.
8. The Cookery Cottage – Invoice Policy (ETB-Funded Clients For all group bookings made by schools (ETB-funded) or corporate clients using a Purchase Order (PO) system:
To ensure timely and accurate payment for services delivered through Education and Training Boards (ETBs), the following invoicing policy applies:
- Purchase Orders (POs)
A valid Purchase Order number must be provided by the ETB prior to delivery of services. Work may be delayed if a PO is not issued in advance. - Invoicing Entity
All invoices will be issued to the relevant Education and Training Board (ETB), not the individual school or centre, unless otherwise agreed in writing. - Invoice Submission
Invoices will be submitted in PDF format to the designated ETB accounts payable email address, with the PO number clearly referenced. - Invoice Details
Each invoice will include:- PO number
- Description of services provided
- Dates of delivery
- School/centre name (for reference only)
- Total amount due (including VAT where applicable)
- Payment Terms
Payment is due within 15–30 days in line with public sector prompt payment guidelines. - Delays & Queries
Any discrepancies or missing information may result in payment delays. Clients are responsible for ensuring correct billing details and approvals are in place.
